Over at Janaki Field you will find clever little mascot markings here and there.

 

Teardrops

I’m fairly ignorant of the names of flowers but I loved the shape of these white little teardrops in the rain.

 

Bunker

There were some great patterns created by sandbags in this drainage ditch off of Kellerher Road.

 

Spread Eagle

Near the deer skeleton there was a male eagle collecting branches which he then took immediately to a nest that was being built.

Corpse

This carcass shocked me lying alongside the road but thankfully it was a deer skeleton. The eagles who live in the area certainly picked it clean.

This ditch had a fun fencepost reflection that is softened by the field of grass.

 

Color in Flight

As this mallard took off I was able to catch his colorful wingspan.

 

Old Stick in the Mud

I’ve found that heron’s are very skittish and as soon as I snapped this shot he was off into the wild blue yonder.

Already this little baby calf was just doing his thing…laying there with a little bird hopping around in their vicinity.
